Our teachers are amazing! Charlemagne Learning Center seeks only highly credentialed, with experience teaching languages, in BOTH online & face-to-face learning environments. They are passionate about sharing their language & culture!

Classes are LIVE & are very interactive. Students will be given many opportunities to speak with his/her professor & classmates in the target language. While students will learn to read and write in the target language, emphasis is on conversation.

Class sizes are small. This allows students more time to communicate and practice speaking in the target language.

The cost for a 10-week course is $699.00 USD.

Once a student registers for a course, he/ she will receive a receipt email from Charlemagne Learning Center. Once the registration process is complete, the student will be given a confirmation email, along with login information, as well as other necessary information.

At Charlemagne Learning Center, all online language instructors must have a valid teaching credential, online teaching experience, & are chosen from a vetted pool of applicants. Language teachers interested in applying for a position at Charlemagne Learning Center are encouraged to submit an application through www.edjoin.org.

Instructors will communicate via email before classes begin.

The minimum number of students per class is ten (10). If after the last day of registration closes there are not ten (10) students enrolled in a course, that course will be canceled and all registered students will receive a full refund.

Charlemagne prides itself in ensuring that all courses do not exceed more than 25 students. Research has shown that smaller class sizes help facilitate learning, especially learning a new language.

The last day for students to register for a course is 1 week (7 days) before the course begins.

If a class is cancelled, students will receive a full refund.

If you wish to register for an online class but it is already full, you will automatically be put on a waiting list. If enough students sign-up (& if an instructor is available) then Charlemagne Learning Center may choose to offer another section.

Classes meet twice a week for 10 weeks. Class sessions are 2 hours long.

Charlemagne Learning Center runs year-round & uses a schedule based on a quarterly system. Not all classes are offered every quarter however, as courses are based upon student interest, instructor availability & other determining factors.

All instructors use Google Meets for live sessions, and also use Google Classroom for assignments. Instructors will invite students each week via email with a Google Meet link (This platform is similar to Zoom)

Some online instructors ask that their students purchase educational materials, but many instructors do not. All instructors will share their syllabi (containing information regarding books & materials) once Charlemagne Learning Center confirms the course & registration is complete.

All Google Meets are recorded & archived. Copies of the recorded session can be shared by emailing your instructor.

All tuition must be paid in full before a student is enrolled in a class. The last day to drop a course (for 100% refund) is on the first day of class. After that there are no refunds.

Let us know which days and times you would prefer, Charlemagne Learning Center will try its best to accommodate. We cannot guarantee that all requests can be honored, but we strive to offer courses at times that are held at convenient times (for both students & instructors)

Yes, please! Simply email us, let us know what language you would like to take, & we will do our best to make it happen! Of course, we can’t promise that we can fulfill all requests, but Charlemagne Learning Center's mission is to offer as many languages as possible.
